HAPPY AUGUST

I’M BAAAAAAACK!

      Well, August may have started off in a rather crummy way - weatherwise here on the Isle of Man - but I'm confident there are lots more sunny, happy days ahead! With this in mind, I'm thinking of bags and purses that you can carry with you to parties, weddings, the beach etc etc and so you will find some of these "Summer Specials" listed with a few more to come. I'm also pondering a Summer Special Sale.... to run for August.  So check those out - along with my latest products. Whatever you are doing this month - have a happy, happy time!

I really love this vibrant clutch purse made in genuine African Waxed cotton (brought over to me from Africa by a dear friend)
It’s a very simple design but both practical and effective. As you can see the front strap goes up through the back looped strap and the bag then fits neatly over the wrist – leaving your hands free for holding a glass or cup in one hand and a plate in the other.
This design makes your belongings very secure too. No more juggling with a strap that falls off your shoulder and no more leaving it somewhere while you go off and dance.
The bag is fully lined with contrasting purple and bright pink fabric with two internal pockets and the bottom is about 2.5 inches deep which makes it deceptively roomy. You can easily get all your bits and bobs in there – phone, cosmetics, wallet, hairbrush etc etc
The bright mix of colours means it will go with just about anything. Imagine how striking it would be against a black outfit!
Equally its casual style would lend itself to wearing with jeans!
The straps are real leather (made them myself!) and are accented at the back with little silver coloured heart rivets.

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
