Jan has a creative lifetime in design and fashion, from university with a degree in Fashion and Textiles – winning two Gold Medals in an international fashion competition during her studies, wide ranging industry experience ranging from M&S high street to Bond Street couture, freelance designing for a number of companies and running her own business making children’s leather jackets. She has an envied reputation for her creativity, innovation, precision and love of design, along with a deep knowledge not only of materials and design craft but also of precious and semi-precious gems. She brings all these cross-media skills to her passion for creating gemstone and beaded jewellery – with most pieces being unique.
