Originally created for my wife and inspired by my love for illustration, the wren – reminiscent of Scandinavian folklore, is designed as a collector’s item. The challenge here was to capture character in simplicity, so creating purity of form, sophistication and harmony within the minimalism tradition. The wren is free-standing.
Please note these items are not toys. This item is available for pick up for customers in the Isle of Man.

With a BA (Hons) degree in Design (Illustration), Ed Morrey of Emo Modern Furniture has been a creator and a frequenter of workshops since childhood. He has also worked as a Sculptor and a Fine Artist, and been Director of two building conservation companies. This is where he honed his practical joinery skills and his eye for architectural detail. His first building conservation project was the restoration of his two art studios in the late 1980’s. These remain his workshop space to this day and are where he began creating bespoke furniture and other home items for family and friends over fifteen years ago.

Shipping Policy
Made to order items will be ready for delivery or collection within three to four weeks after your item has been ordered, assuming clearance of funds. Items over £100 can be delivered to your home at no extra cost or collected from the The Workshops, Braust Farm, Andreas at a time of your convenience. In stock items below £100 will be delivered at Courier cost within seven days of receiving cleared funds. You are also very welcome to collect them from the workshop. Customers will be notified of dispatch and estimated arrival time.
Return Policy
Please note - 'Made to Order Items' are non-returnable / non-refundable once production has commenced. If you have made an order in error, we have put in place a 24 hour grace period if you should change your mind. This policy is due to the nature of the work. Emo Modern Furniture prides itself on excellent customer service, and is available to work closely with the customer throughout production. In the unlikely event that your item cannot be created, you will receive a full refund. If an item proves faulty, Emo Modern Furniture will work swiftly to rectify the problem. If deemed unsuitable for any reason, our small size Anemo heads may be returned to The Workshops, Braust Farm, Andreas, IM7 4ES, within 14 days of receipt. These must be securely wrapped, with both goods and packaging in their original condition. A full refund will be issued once returned goods are received and within 30 days. Returns are at the customer's risk, and no refund will be given if goods are returned in damaged condition, or not received at all. Please note, due to the nature of the work, items may vary slightly from those depicted.
