Quilted purple jewellery tray embroidered with Celtic Triskelia in silver effect thread.
An ideal and unusual gift for throwing your jewellery or change or whatever in at the end of the day. This handy little tray is made of a purple batik cotton layered in plain black. The top is quilted in toning purple thread and a different thread is used in the bobbin to give a different effect on the black backing.
The back story to this one is that many years ago I checked out of a hotel – leaving a gold necklace on my nightstand! It went unnoticed in the midst of packing. I also nearly lost a pair of earrings as one rolled off the same nightstand! (Fortunately I got everything back)
ANYWAY – I decided then to create some sort of simple tray into which I could put my jewellery on my nightstand. It packs flat and is therefore easy to stick in your suitcase.
It would be equally suitable for a man to use for the same purpose to put his watch in or cufflinks, pocket change or whatever.
It’s made from 100% cotton – lightly padded – and measures approximately 7 inches (8 cms) square.
It would make an unusual gift and packs flat so easy to post.
Made and embroidered completely by me on the beautiful Isle of Man.
There is only one of these – and the contents are not included (but you knew that right? 🙂 )
Although there is a postal charge I do not charge for packing as I try to use recycled packaging wherever possible.
