In this needle felting kit, you will find everything you need to create a cute Little Manx Loaghtan sheep, perfect for home decoration.
This set will also be a wonderful and unique gift for your friends.
This kit contains:
• Loaghtan wool roving
• Shetland wool roving
• Loaghtan wool fleece (washed)
• Small quantity of black wool
• Felting needles
• Glass eyes
• Cotton calico bag
• Cocktail stick

CAREFUL Needle felting can be very absorbing so before starting there are a few points to consider. As the needles are so sharp, it’s essential that they are stored appropriately after use and disposed of carefully if they break. Keep needles away from children and animals. Always replace needles in storage immediately, after use or pausing in your work.

NOTE: You will need some cheap rice for the cotton calico bag and fill the bag about ¾ full and close securely. In order to use the needle correctly, for felting, you need to be able to jab it down into the wool, and to avoid injury to yourself and possible damage to furniture, is essential to have this little rice filled bag.

My inspiration comes for all around me but particularly the wonderful natural world around me. I’m a country lover, at heart and living on the Isle of Man provides me with a wonderous array of ideas and material. I’m constantly struck by the play of light on the landscape, colours soft and muted by rain of sharp and vibrant by the sun; the possibilities are endless.
I have a passion for textiles and I build each piece from wool and enjoy sourcing sustainable, organic fleece for my art pieces; I include silk and other fibres and love to hand embroider and bead my pieces; many taking up to a month to complete. My work is continually evolving as I discover new inspiration, new techniques and new textile materials to work with.
