My name is Susie Heckles and I have a little ceramics/art studio in the quiet picturesque village of Glen Maye, on the Western side of the Isle of Man.
I have always been a creative person, but never received a formal artistic education.
I developed a passion for ceramics several years ago having attended a course at the IOM University College. I am still learning and growing artistically and enjoy designing in most mediums.
I love anything rustic, Celtic or architectural and this I believe shows in my own distinctive style. I am also inspired by nature and so try to bring animals and the natural world into my work.
