... although it's like the Bleak Midwinter today here on the Isle of Man.  But this too shall pass as they say so let's think about Spring-y things - like lambs, daffodils and - oh yes - Mother's Day!

Notebook/Journal covered in Laxey Tweed with embroidered Loughtan sheep on suede patch with a suede spine.
These days there are a number of ways we can keep notes – iPads, phones, laptops etc but sometimes there is nothing to beat a beautiful notebook in which to record your thoughts, dreams and ambitions.
This journal is covered in a beautiful warm shade of medium brown Laxey Tweed woven right here on the Isle of Man. (The colour is much warmer than in the picture shows) It has a beautifully soft real suede spine in a complementary shade of brown which makes it feel good in your hand. It is enhanced by an embroidered Loughtan sheep on a matching suede patch.
The journal is lined in a lovely 100% cotton – which you will see when it is time to replace your notebook. Because this cover is actually refillable with almost any A5 notebook of your choice.
The notebook supplied is ruled and has a pocket at the back. Together with the flap, this means you have two places to keep notes or receipts etc

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
