HOW ABOUT A BESPOKE PET PORTRAIT?
Commissioning a portrait is easy!

Clear photos are essential to achieving a portrait that you love. Fortunately nowadays most of us have a great little camera on our mobile phones! Also, if you live in the Isle of Man I’m happy to meet up with you and take photos with my DSLR camera at no extra cost to you. If this is something you’d like please do say in our initial correspondence. I absolutely LOVE meeting the pets I paint!
Remember too that anecdotes can also give me an invaluable insight to your pet’s character.

DECISIONS DECISIONS!
If you require help deciding whether you would prefer a portrait in pastels or in oils I am happy to advise.
Also I can help you choose between photos if you have several and you’re not sure which might make for the best portrait.
Once the details of the portrait are finalised and a date for completion is agreed I can book your space on my calendar.

TIMEFRAME FROM ORDER TO COMPLETION
This varies depending on my current workload, and drying time in the case of oil paintings, but usually 2 to 4 weeks. Christmas is the exception to this and so it’s a good idea to contact me by the end of September if it’s a Christmas gift you’re looking for.
Please let me know if you require your portrait completed in time for a specific date so I can meet your deadline.

PAYMENT
Your portrait must be paid for at the time of ordering, once all the details of the commission are agreed.

COMPLETION
When your portrait is finished I will email you a copy for your approval. In the rare circumstance that you require an adjustment, it can be made at this time.
Your portrait will then be sent out to you, with insurance.
If you live on the Isle of Man you’re also welcome to arrange collection from my studio in Kirk Michael if you prefer.

YOUR PEACE OF MIND
is of the upmost importance to me. I am a pet owner like you most likely are, and I fully understand how central our furry family members are in our lives. Therefore I will endeavour to portray not only a likeness of your pet ( or that of a loved one) but his or her very essence of character. If I fail to do this, or you are in any other way disappointed with your purchase, I will endeavour to right this or you will receive your money back.
Postage includes insurance to ensure safe delivery. All portraits are supplied unframed.
