HAPPY AUGUST

I’M BAAAAAAACK!

      Well, August may have started off in a rather crummy way - weatherwise here on the Isle of Man - but I'm confident there are lots more sunny, happy days ahead! With this in mind, I'm thinking of bags and purses that you can carry with you to parties, weddings, the beach etc etc and so you will find some of these "Summer Specials" listed with a few more to come. I'm also pondering a Summer Special Sale.... to run for August.  So check those out - along with my latest products. Whatever you are doing this month - have a happy, happy time!

A beautiful embroidered make up bag/petite clutch bag with matching key fob.

Leather pouch embroidered with a row of dogs and matching key fob.

Like the others in this key fob and pouch series, this zip top bag is made from fabulously soft, top quality, Italian leather (this time in cream) and fully lined in 100%cotton – dog-themed. The accompanying key fob is made from the same material and the keyring is securely riveted with a Manx rivet. The pouch is embroidered with a row of dogs and the key fob features an embroidery of my favourite pooch from the design. The zipper tab is finished with a Tibetan Silver paw print charm.

Measuring approximately 7.5 inches (19 cm) wide by 5.5 inches (14 cms) high, this lovely soft bag is lightly padded to protect your bits and pieces and stop them from disappearing to the bottom of your bigger bag. Its petite size allows for use as a clutch bag – it holds more than you think – or perhaps as jewellery storage while on your travels.

All hand cut, embroidered and constructed by me in my home studio here on the Isle of Man.

Only one in this colourway!

Slip the key fob into the pouch and it all packs flat and is therefore easy to pop in the post to a friend or loved one to tell them you are thinking of them – if you can bear to part with it that is! A great gift for Valentine’s Day or Mothers Day perhaps?

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
