... although it's like the Bleak Midwinter today here on the Isle of Man.  But this too shall pass as they say so let's think about Spring-y things - like lambs, daffodils and - oh yes - Mother's Day!

Red and the Wolf
A compact shoulder/crossbody bag in soft blue Chambray featuring Red Riding Hood and the Wolf in embroidery. (The blue is lighter than it appears in these photographs by the way)

This lovely soft, padded bag – which can be used as a shoulder bag or a crossbody – is the perfect size to put your phone, cards and other essentials in when you are out and about. Despite its slimline appearance, it holds a remarkable amount and the front pocket – which reaches the full width of the bag – is ideal for stowing your phone, parking tickets etc for easy access.

The main compartment is roomy and big enough to hold a Kindle if you need it to. You can certainly get your wallet, make up stuff, tissues, sanitizer, car keys and all the other paraphernalia we (well I) carry around with us.

It’s made from soft denim blue Chambray with a vibrant red 100% cotton interior and closed with a scarlet zip to match the zip on the front. The adjustable strap is long enough to allow the bag to be worn crossbody if you wish. It is finished with silver look hardware.

It measures approximately 10 inches (25.5 cms) high by 10.5 inches (27 cms) at its widest and is lined – interior and front pocket – with 100% cotton in a brilliant red pattern.

All made by me in my home studio right here on the Isle of Man.

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
