Resin Sparkle Trinket Box with lid PALE BLUE

My name is Carol and I’ve lived on this beautiful island for 16 years. My main employment is as a pharmacist so this is very much a hobby for now…

Inspiration came in the form of an old summerhouse, donated as firewood but which I had rebuilt overlooking the Sulby river. I decided it needed accessorising and started looking for wind chimes and suncatchers. The only suncatcher that took my eye was one made by a seller called “TapestryArabianFarms” in America. Shipping was expensive to start with and having been charged additional customs fees, I decided to have a go at making them myself. It took a while to perfect the technique for making the marble cages, but once I had, the product was born.

Each original suncatcher includes 42 marbles of either glass or semi-precious stones, approximately 10 metres of copper wire and in all cases for now, Swarovski crystal finishings. Unfortunately Swarovski have changed their wholesale terms and conditions so once I run out of those (Still have plenty for now) I will use other crystal products but I’m sure these will not detract from the intended effects.

Since starting this hobby I had the opportunity to learn about resin craft… I’m hooked. I still try to work by the suncatcher theme but as colourful practical items, ornaments and resin suncatchers.
