HAPPY AUGUST

I’M BAAAAAAACK!

      Well, August may have started off in a rather crummy way - weatherwise here on the Isle of Man - but I'm confident there are lots more sunny, happy days ahead! With this in mind, I'm thinking of bags and purses that you can carry with you to parties, weddings, the beach etc etc and so you will find some of these "Summer Specials" listed with a few more to come. I'm also pondering a Summer Special Sale.... to run for August.  So check those out - along with my latest products. Whatever you are doing this month - have a happy, happy time!

LOADS of people – well maybe two – okay one person – have asked me about the picture on my shop banner so here it is!

The lovely fish is embroidered using shades of aqua coupled with a silver metallic thread to give it an extra shimmer. The bag is quilted which adds structure and protection for the contents.

It is – as the name suggests – embroidered on soft blue faux suede and is fully lined with a cotton fabric in a bubble pattern in shades of blue with a silver shimmer echoing the embroidery and has a good sized internal slip pocket. There’s a zipped top to keep all your stuff safe too.

This is a one of a kind clutch bag – suitable for day or evening. Remove the detachable wrist strap and you have a good sized cosmetic purse.

The bag measures approximately 9” x 5” x 2” – the perfect size to hold your phone, some cash and a card or two without being bulky or heavy.

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
