Hello November!

 

I'm a little bit late updating my little blogette here at Cinnamon Embroidery but I hope you are having a good November so far.

I've been working hard and have a couple of new items for you this month including a lovely leather purse/wallet and a pretty pouch featuring a cute little owl wreath made from cream felt and lined with faux suede.  Oh and in the cosy department don't forget to check out the hand crocheted cowls and fingerless gloves.  These have been very popular and I hope to make more if I can fit a few in.

The Honey Sling Bag

A roomy – yet compact – over the shoulder sling bag, ideal for those quiet walks. Big enough to hold your water, sandwiches, Kindle etc. Concealed zip front pocket (for quick access to your phone) and elasticated inside pocket. It would also make a great backpack for a child.

A small Loughtan sheep – our native rare breed sheep here in the Isle of Man- is embroidered on the strap holder. A wide adjustable strap makes it comfortable to wear.

It’s made from a dry waxed cotton in a lovely soft shade of honey and lined with 100% cotton.

Due to the nature of the exterior fabric, it will season and age gently with use. You may see scratches and other small marks but it all adds to its character and charm. It is soft and smooth to the touch.

Perfectly sized for man, woman or child!

Dimensions are:

11+ inches tall
7+ inches wide
3-ish inches deep.

As usual, there is only one!

P.S. the circular ‘mark’ is not a fault – just bad photography!

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
