HAPPY AUGUST

I’M BAAAAAAACK!

      Well, August may have started off in a rather crummy way - weatherwise here on the Isle of Man - but I'm confident there are lots more sunny, happy days ahead! With this in mind, I'm thinking of bags and purses that you can carry with you to parties, weddings, the beach etc etc and so you will find some of these "Summer Specials" listed with a few more to come. I'm also pondering a Summer Special Sale.... to run for August.  So check those out - along with my latest products. Whatever you are doing this month - have a happy, happy time!

A handmade leather purse/wallet embroidered with a Loughtan Sheep

This is a really handy wallet suitable for a man or woman.  The outer shell is made of soft brown leather which is embroidered with a cute Manx Loughtan sheep.

Inside there is a small zipped pocket big enough for a few coins with room behind it for some folded notes.  On the other side are three card slots with plenty of room for at least two cards in each slot.

Its fully lined with a toning brown cotton fabric – and the coin purse is also lined with a touch of Manx Hunting Tartan.

The wallet closes securely with an antique brass effect snap fastener and a suede tab.
This is an ideal wallet to pop into a small bag or a jacket pocket in place of your larger everyday wallet or purse.
Approximate size is 5 inches across by about 4 inches tall.
Comes packed in a small box with tissue paper.

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
