HAPPY AUGUST

I’M BAAAAAAACK!

      Well, August may have started off in a rather crummy way - weatherwise here on the Isle of Man - but I'm confident there are lots more sunny, happy days ahead! With this in mind, I'm thinking of bags and purses that you can carry with you to parties, weddings, the beach etc etc and so you will find some of these "Summer Specials" listed with a few more to come. I'm also pondering a Summer Special Sale.... to run for August.  So check those out - along with my latest products. Whatever you are doing this month - have a happy, happy time!

By the way, if you are viewing from the UK you might like to know that everything on my site can be purchased online and shipped to your home address.  If you are a Manx resident you can enter the recipient's UK address and I'll send it on for you.  I'll even add a note if you would like.

The Rainbow Fringe Bag

Slimline three-way bag – shoulder, crossbody and clutch.

Beautifully soft jet black Italian leather embroidered with an abstract design “Rainbow Fringe” and lined in bright 100% cotton in a complementary pattern. Small patch pocket on inside takes care of tickets, cards etc – anything you need to keep close to hand.

The back of the bag is completely black and unadorned – in case you want to wear a plainer, more sophisticated, bag for any reason! 🙂

The detachable black webbing strap is adjustable and is accented with scarlet leather and silver coloured hardware and rivets. The side attachments are angled so that the strap and bag hang nicely in use.

The bag is closed with a rainbow zipper and measures approximately 8.5 inches (21.5 cms)wide by 7 inches (18 cms) tall.

It packs flat and is therefore easy to pop in the post to a friend or loved one to tell them you are thinking of them.

Just a note to remind that all my items are handmade and mostly handcut by me in my home studio here on the Isle of Man. This bag is completely my own design and there will be only one in this colourway.

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
