... although it's like the Bleak Midwinter today here on the Isle of Man.  But this too shall pass as they say so let's think about Spring-y things - like lambs, daffodils and - oh yes - Mother's Day!

The Swirly Girly Pouch – a handy sized caddy to hold whatever you want it to. Sturdy grey canvas paired with shocking pink embroidery.

The Swirly Girly Pouch was born when an embroidery designer asked me to test a design for her. I couldn’t just leave it as a test square – so here she is.

Measuring approximately 8 inches (20.5 cm) high, 9 inches (23cms) wide across the top and 3 inches (7.5 cms) deep, she is the ideal size to store a multitude of items from cosmetics, to sewing paraphernalia to acting as a handy project bag for your crochet.

She is lined with a complementary shocking pink fabric – I have no idea what it is – it could even be a sort of synthetic silk – and the shocking pink zipper pull adds a nice accent.

P.S. I called it a Swirly Girly – but there’s absolutely no reason why a bloke shouldn’t enjoy it too!

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
