I’M BAAAAAAACK!

      Well, August may have started off in a rather crummy way - weatherwise here on the Isle of Man - but I'm confident there are lots more sunny, happy days ahead! With this in mind, I'm thinking of bags and purses that you can carry with you to parties, weddings, the beach etc etc and so you will find some of these "Summer Specials" listed with a few more to come. I'm also pondering a Summer Special Sale.... to run for August.  So check those out - along with my latest products. Whatever you are doing this month - have a happy, happy time!

The Western Series : The Leather and Denim Horse Pouch

Every now and again I see a design I simply HAVE to embroider and this Western style horse is one of them! This is the first in a small series of Western-style bags and pouches.

It is embroidered on real leather which is then appliqued to recycled indigo denim. It is lined with 100% cotton. The colour of the zipper tones with the leather applique and it is finished with a Tibetan Silver Horse Charm. The back features the Cinnamon logo burnt on suede and held with small gold rivets for a designer touch! 😉

But the real feature of this particular pouch is its shape. Measuring approximately 8.75 inches (22.5 cms) wide by 6 inches (15 cms) high it is a fabulous 3.5 inches (9 cms) across the bottom, meaning it is roomy enough for all your stuff – be it make up, phone, ear buds etc etc It’s also super stable to stand on your dressing table or nightstand when you are away to store your jewellery, watch etc

I’ve only made one of these just now – but I have some other Western designs I’m dying to try so watch this space!

P.S. It also folds flat for easy packing and posting as a surprise present for a loved one – if you can bear to part with it!

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
