So what have I been up to lately?  You’ll find some lovely summer bags on the site and also some cute phone pouches which are ideal when you want to carry a little more than your phone and a card or two.  These are great - and I plan to make lots more!

 

I've also been using more Ukranian Embroidery designs on bags.  This one is my latest in black leather with an adjustable strap.

I've also been experimenting with Needlefelting and this lovely Kindle case is the result.

By the way, if you are a visitor you might like to know that everything on my site can be purchased online and shipped to your home address.

(If you live outside the UK you may wish to contact me first - overseas postage can be prohibitive these days so best to talk about it first.

Lavender bags! Who doesn’t love ’em?
This pair are made from fine linen fabric embellished with vintage lace, finished with a little loop of satin ribbon and presented in an organza bag. The lavender buds themselves are tucked inside polyester filling for softness.
They make a perfect little gift to pop in an envelope to send to someone to say you are thinking of them.
Soothing and comforting, did you know that not only are they great to tuck in your underwear drawer or hang from the bedhead (to promote sleep) – they also deter moths in the wardrobe by hanging them around the neck of a coat hanger? Apparently great to tuck among your woollens too – although make sure the area is clear of moth larvae etc first. (Martha Stewart said it so it must be true …) Another use is to deter flies believe it or not!
Each one measures approximately 3.5 by 2.5 inches (9.5 by 7 centimetres)

I’ve been a Fabricaholic, sewist and embroiderer for as long as I can remember and this obsession has started slowly but surely to extend itself into other areas – mainly embroidery and handmade bags.

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting designs to enhance my products and add that unique touch.

My main focus is bags which vary from make up bags to tote bags to high end leather handbags. I use a great variety of fabrics from linen to leather, cotton to cork.

I also make items for home decor – embroidered pictures, embroidered tea towels, AGA pads, fabric storage boxes etc – even the odd cushion!  You can find these in my sister store Cinnamon Homestyle.

I mostly make what I love and hope that someone else will love it too and want to own it.

Everything I make is made by me – right here on the Isle of Man in my home studio.
